About The Hunt

Some of the best in your face action for waterfowl hunting. We hunt all open waters out of the X2 Core Sound Layout. We'll meet at the ramp and head out to the water sometimes can be a 15 mile boat ride. Get all the decoys set in place along with the layout. Cook up some nice hot breakfast and some conversations about life and what's about to happen. You then get prepared for what we hope is one of your life's best guided duck hunts.

Cost of the Hunt

Cost is $250 for each hunter with a 2-hunter minimum and 4 hunters max. We'll hunt from legal shooting light until 12pm or limits are met.

Birds we are chasing

Sea Ducks (Black Scoter, Surf Scoter, White Wing)

Divers (Bluebill, Redhead, Canvasback, Bufflehead, Ruddy)

Where we leave from

Ramps depend on wind and what the birds are doing. Most hunts are out of the Oriental, NC area around the lower end of the Neuse River system and Pamlico Sound. If winds shift from the south we typically run out of South River or Havelock, NC.
